As the Police Chief, I am striving to build a new and improved police department that the people of Lyons can depend on and be proud of. I intend to work closely with local, state and federal agencies to expand our methods, practices and capabilities to stay informed and to provide increased security in the areas of drug enforcement and homeland security. The police department needs the support and cooperation of the residents to improve the quality of life in our community by reducing fear, preventing crime and enforcing the laws effectively.
